Our History

Hudson Plating Company Inc. was established in 1948 on Hudson street in Vancouver British Columbia. The company now consists of a plating division which offers a variety of plating finishes and grinding as well as a powder division which is one of the largest powder coating companies in the Vancouver area.

Setting the standard on the West Coast

Hudson Plating Co. Ltd. has been a leader in the electroplating and powder coating industry. Having introduced powder coating to Western Canada in 1969, our shop has been setting the standard here since then. Our staff brings over 250 years of combined powder coating experience.

Hudson Does Volume

Our 28,000 square foot facility is located in South Burnaby; providing easy access for transport of your goods. Our shop boasts two full 330 foot conveyorized lines, each with convection ovens that have IR boosters, and a 4′ x 8′ x 14′ batch oven capable of handling larger items..

We believe that the quality of your product begins beneath the finish. Our goal is to provide our customers with a finished product that will perform beyond your expectations. To ensure this, we take the time to perform pre-production inspections that eliminate any defective material that could degrade the final product. This eliminates the need for time consuming rework, and ultimately saves you money.
