Hudson can plate any steel, brass or copper parts. We can hard chrome most stainless steel parts. Limited finishing can be done on Zinc Diecasting. Please ask!
Other than chromating and Powder Coating, Hudson can not put any finishes on Aluminum.
What size of part can we finish?
Zinc Plating
- Part sizes ranging from 1/8” diameter x ¼” long to 10’ x 4’ x 22”.
- Part weights up to 500 lbs.
Cad Plating
- Part sizes ranging from 1/8” diameter x ¼” long to 18” x 12” x 12”
- Part weights up to 250 lbs.
Tin Plating
- Part sizes ranging from 1/8” diameter x ¼” long to 24” x 24” x 24”
- Part weights up to 200 lbs.
Hard Chrome
- Part sizes ranging from ½” diameter x 4” long to 36” diameter x 132” long
(Note: longer parts can be accommodated by plating 1 end at a time – please ask!)
- Part weights up to 4000 lbs.
Chromating on Aluminium
- Part sizes ranging from ¼” diameter x ¼” long to 24” x 24” x 12”
- Part weights up to 40 lbs.
Grinding
- Flat part sizes up to 120” x 24” x 4”
- Cylindrical part sizes up to 82” overall length x 22” diameter.
- Part weights up to 1000 lbs.
Embrittlement Relief
- Part sizes ranging from 1/8” diameter x ¼” long to 58” x 46” x 34”
- Part weights to 1000 lbs.
